ADVERTISING AT BEAVERS FIELD
Fairfield County Baseball Complex Association Inc is a 501©3 nonprofit corporation formed to construct and maintain this baseball complex (Beavers Field).
Beavers Field is located in Lancaster, Ohio where high school, college and American Legion games are played as well as several tournaments during the spring including high school District Tournament Finals and OHSAA Regional Tournament and a Regional Campus College Tournament.
In the summer, there are several American Legion Baseball Tournaments held on this field. A Junior Legion Post 11 Classic is played the first weekend of June with teams from Ohio, Pennsylvania and other states participating. The Lancaster Post 11 Classic is played the last week of June with eight (8) teams from Ohio, Pennsylvania and Michigan participating, 2018 was the 26th year. The following weekend has the Junior American Legion State Tournament, which includes all junior teams in Ohio.
Added in 2010 was the week long American Legion State Tournament which brings eight (8) teams to Lancaster from all over Ohio. These tournaments bring thousands of people to Lancaster as participants and fans. Also, there are college coaches and pro scouts that watch these games who spend money in Lancaster for food and housing.
In the fall, there is a High School Fall League that plays games for six weeks with over 18 high schools represented.
A total of 1213 games were played in 2013-2018 with over 19,000 youth participating and thousands of spectators attending. 2012 was also the first year for a new state of art Scoreboard to Beavers Field, which will allow a new way to advertise at a high visual location (everyone looks at the scoreboard many times during games). Also, still available are 6 x 10 banners on the fence. Field Turf was added to the infield for the 2013 season, which will add more games and eliminate rainouts. Field Turf was added to pitcher’s mound in 2017 to allow more games to be played after rain. Attached are agreement forms for both methods of advertising. DONATE TO LANCASTER POST 11
Beavers Field and Lancaster Post 11 American Legion Baseball are looking for business partners and donors to help us support our 2018 baseball season. Beavers Field has become a pillar in the Lancaster community, hosting numerous events throughout the year and drawing thousands to our community. Post 11 has attracted great young men to its team year after year. These young men go on to become respected members of our communities.
Baseball is very expensive. Actually, it is more expensive than many people realize – from maintaining facilities and field maintenance to uniforms, tournament fees and paying umpires.
We are hoping to raise upward of $5000 to balance our 2018 season budget. That amount will provide a consistent experience to Beavers Field patrons. It will also help provide our Post 11 team members an experience comparable with other baseball programs while keeping our players fees at a reasonable rate.
