Post 11 is deeply saddened by the passing of Chopper Schmeltz, long-time skipper of Pemberville Post 183 American Legion Baseball.

Chopper passed away this past Wednesday, 2/19/2020.

Watch this short video to hear Chopper share in his own words what Legion Baseball meant to him and the importance of serving the youth of our country. The video was shot last summer at the annual Pemberville tournament.

Post 11 offers its deepest condolences to the his wife Mary, the entire Schmeltz family and to our ALB family at Post 183.
