Beavers Field is home of Lancaster Post 11 American Legion Baseball, Lancaster's home town team since 1949. 

Voted 2011 Field of the Year by the Ohio Sports Turf Managers Association, and 2005 High School Field of the Year by the High School Coaches Association, Beavers Field is a multi-purpose stadium hosting several high-profile events:

• Ohio American Legion Junior and Senior State Tournaments
• Ohio American Legion District 8, Region 6 Tournament
• Ohio High School Regional Tournament
• Lancaster Post 11 Baseball Classic, an annual American Legion Baseball tournament running since 1993

Beavers Field is also home to  Lancaster Gales, and hosts numerous college and high school team games through out the year. 

It has a full service concession stand - home of the famous "Phyllis Burger" -  stadium bleachers,  full press box, covered picnic area, and ample room for lawn chairs and blankets.
